Target Audience feedback
Audience feedback
After showing my whole magazine to a few memebers of my target audience i found a number of improvements that i could make to my magazine in order to create a more effective product overall. for example in my original magazine i had changed the colour saturation on my images in order to make them black and white at the time i had thought that this would give the magazine a classic rock convention but after consulting some target audience members they suggested making the image full colour as this would grab the audiences attention in a more effective way, and also it would create a greater contrast with the background. in a similar point to the colour of my images the target audience members also suggested that i make my background darker this inconjunction to my now coloured picture would be alot more striking and eye catching than my original magazine.
After looking closely at my images feed back suggested that the images would be much more effective if i were to clean up the quality of my images, i did this by using the magnetic lasso tool along with the feather tool in order to make sure that the edges of my images were a lot smoother and looked considerably more professional as a result. In order to make my image stand out even further it was suggested that i remove the logo from the shirt of one of my images i did this by using the cloning tool that allowed me to seemlessly replace the shirt logo with more shirt, this meant that no attention was detracted from my image, which naturally made it more effective.

House style
House style
In my magazine i have chosen to mainly use the colours Red,White and Black. I have chosen them because red is naturally an attractive colour that catches the eye of customers and it's brightness also appeals to younger audiences it also contrasts well with the dark backgrounds making it stand out even further.I have chosen the black and white combination for my magazine because not only does it make the white text stand out further but it also is a key convention of the classical Rock magazine. For my house style i chose to use 3 columns and a large amount of other quotes, plugs and puffs because i feel it makes the magazine look more busy and energetic again appealing to my younger audience.
For my House style i used mostly bold text because it made my article alot more informal and stands out a great deal to my chosen audience as appose to more formal fonts that do not work with the kind of style i am going for.
